Vodafone slashes roaming tariffs for all its customers

Reduced rates of 70paisa/min or 1.5 paisa/sec when you roam on Vodafone network across India

Bangalore, December 04, 2009: Vodafone Essar, one of India’s leading cellular services providers, today announced new roaming tariffs and for its Prepaid and Postpaid customers. Customers can choose from the Travel plan at 70 paisa/min or from the Ticket Plan at 1.5 paisa/min. Now stay in touch with family and friends across the country while you travel.

New Roaming Tariff plans :

For New Prepaid Customers :

• Ticket Plan: Recharge with Rs 76 and make all local and STD calls at 1p/sec. Whilst roaming make and receive all calls at just 1.5p/sec. You also get Talktime of Rs 5 and 100 local and national SMS free daily.
  
  
• Travel plan: Recharge with Rs 133 and make all local and STD calls at 50paisa/min. Whilst roaming make and receive all calls at just 70paisa/min. You also get 100 local SMS free and taltkime of Rs 50.

For Existing Prepaid Customers :

• Ticket Plan: Recharge with Rs 74 and make all local and STD calls at 1p/sec. Whilst roaming make and receive all calls at just 1.5p/sec.
  
  
• Travel plan: Recharge with Rs 129 and make all local and STD calls at 50paisa/min. Whilst roaming make and receive all calls at just 70paisa/min.

These tariff plans carry a validity of 365 days from the date of recharge.

POSTPAID :

• Ticket Plan : With the Rs 299 monthly rental plan, get all local and STD calls at 1p/sec. Whilst roaming make and receive all calls at just 1.5p/sec. You also get 10,000 local & STD secs free every month.
  
• Travel plan: With the Rs 299 monthly rental plan, get all local & STD calls @ 50p/min. Whilst roaming make and receive all calls at just 70paisa/min. You also get 175 local & STD mins free every month.
  Standard rates applicable on all ISD calls and while roaming on other networks.
