Vodafone is happy to help this monsoon

Vodafone Essar, one of India’s leading cellular services providers, kick-started ‘Happy to Help’, a customer service initiative in Kerala, to help bring relief to commuters during heavy rains. In keeping with Vodafone’s promise of ‘Happy to help’, Vodafone ushers are stationed with huge umbrellas at major railway stations across the state to help people to and from the platforms.

In order to bring alive the Vodafone Customer Service promise and make it more tangible, Vodafone ushers will be present at major railway stations in Kerala like -Trivandrum, Kollam, Ernakulum South, Ernakulum Town, Thrissur, Calicut and Kannur, to assist commuters this monsoon. Ushers are also stationed at Vodafone stores to help customers in and out of the store during heavy rains.
Commenting on this initiative, K Sundararaman, Business Head, Vodafone Essar Kerala says, “Monsoon is a particularly difficult season for people in Kerala and through this initiative, we hope to bring relief to people during the downpour. We are always ready and ‘Happy to help’.
This monsoon, Vodafone has also taken additional steps to ensure that customers have seamless connectivity by conducting pre-monsoon network audits & implementing recommendations like Earth resistance verification, weather proofing, assurance of redundant power supply and ensuring adequate spare availability. All of these efforts help Vodafone in maintaining its network quality during adverse weather conditions. |
