TATA DOCOMO celebrates Christmas with Pooja Chopra

• Miss India 2009 does a Santa Claus for a cause

TATA DOCOMO’s Doer Pooja Chopra stood true to herpromise and the coveted title, ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ by spreading Christmas Cheer at the TATA DOCOMO Experience Centre and contributing to the ‘Do gift a smile’ initiative.

TATA DOCOMO initiated a movement to encourage the residents of Bandra to donate generously to the cause of children and gift a smile this Christmas. The proceeds from this initiative would go to Aseema – an organization noted for exemplary work for children while trying to provide them with a nurturing and stimulating educational environment that helps them recognize their limitless potential. The response from the large-hearted ‘Bandraites’ has been overwhelming.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Abdul Khan, Head-Tata DOCOMO Marketing and Advisor to the MD, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited said, “We are very proud that millions of people continue to join the TATA DOCOMO family, spreading smiles across India. To celebrate this season, we have drawn upon the spirit of philanthropy, which is inherent in all of us. We enabled you to Give for a noteworthy cause – to spread cheer among children! Pooja Chopra, who is a part of our brand, truly personifies this; especially given the fact that she won the coveted title of a "Beauty with a Purpose" at the Miss World 2009 pageant.
