Parker Moss joins Alcatel-Lucent to lead Marketing for the Company’s Wireless Business

Paris, 23 June, 2011

Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext and NYSE: ALU) today announced the appointment of Parker Moss as Vice President of Wireless Marketing, where he will be responsible for the promotion of the company’s wireless products, including the lightRadio™ portfolio.

Parker joins Alcatel-Lucent from the international GSM Association, where he was Head of Strategy.

Stephen Carter, Executive Vice President at Alcatel-Lucent, said: "Parker brings strong market knowledge and a real understanding of our customers’ needs to our fast-growing wireless business. He added: "The market and consumer demand for wireless services requires that we have the best people in key roles -- Parker will lead our wireless marketing with fresh vigour and real customer knowledge."

Parker is an established international executive with numerous achievements in the Mobile Telecommunications and Strategy arenas, including having served as Head of Technology & Telecom Research at Reuters and as a Telecoms Equity Analyst at Sanford C Bernstein.
