MTNL launches Friend Finder in Mumbai

MTNL has launched Friend Finder, an application developed by Livevana Innovations Pvt. Ltd. for its subscribers in Mumbai. It’s a smart new application that helps the user to stay connected with his friends and family on the go. This application can cater to the needs of young people who want to keep in touch with their groups as well as people who are

concerned about safety of near and dear ones when they are physically not around.

All that the subscriber has to do is invite (not more than five people at a time) friends or family members to join his friends’ list. Upon acceptance from the invitees, they are dded to the friends’ list of the subscriber. This list can have any number of friends. Some of the useful attributes of this application is that it allows the subscriber to use nicknames of friends and is SMS based. Also, being totally consent-based, a friend is free to simply deny the request of being located by the subscriber. Now when ever one wants to know the whereabouts of a particular friend, he can simply use this application.

Amidst the humdrum of city life, MTNL’s Friend Finder comes as a breather for many who either want to perk up their social life or just want to feel assured about the well being of their family and friends. The cost of this service is just Rs.7 per week or Rs.25 per month and is auto renewable unless the user un-subscribes before end of the subscription period. There are no additional charges for adding, deleting, finding etc. apart from the weekly/monthly subscription charges.
