Millions of students to access PSEB Examination Results on IDEA mobile phones

This year, millions of school students who appeared for the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) examinations for VIIIth, Xth & XIIth standards, can access their results on their IDEA mobile phones. Over 8 lakh students who appeared for VIIIth standard examination this year, will be able to access their Board Exam Results on their mobile phones on May 16 / 17th – the expected dates for results announcement.

Anxious students and their parents who line up for hours outside schools and public notice boards, don’t need to step out anywhere this time, as the Board Exam Results are just a Call and SMS away. The students can register now by simply dialing 50005 or sending an SMS MD<>RollNo to 50005 from any prepaid or postpaid IDEA number in Punjab and the result will be sent through SMS once announced.

IDEA Cellular will have access to the Results two hours prior to the public announcement. IDEA subscribers who avail the Results Pack will receive the results on SMS soon after the availability on the network. Charges of Rs. 5 per SMS or per call will apply for the subscription.

The PSEB exam results for VIIIth standard is expected on May 16/17th, whereas Xth & XIIth standard results will be announced later in the month. IDEA Cellular is the only private mobile operator in the state of Punjab, which will make the results available on its mobile platform.
