M K Sachdeva joins MTS as the new COO of Bihar and Jharkhand telecom circle

MTS, the mobile telephony services brand of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Ltd(SSTL) today announced the appointment of Mr. M K Sachdeva as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Bihar/ Jharkhand telecom circles. Mr. Sachdeva, will report directly to Mr. Vsevolod Rozanov, President and CEO of the company.

Mr. M K Sachdeva will take charge of Bihar / Jharkand telecom circles from Mr. Keshav Tiwary, COO of Kolkata and West Bengal, who had the additional charge of Bihar/Jharkhand. Mr.Sachdeva has a career in executive decision making and strategic business planning in telecom and other sectors for over the last 21 years. Prior to the appointment at MTS, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Etisalat India Ltd for the Bihar / Jharkand circle. Mr. Sachdeva has also worked with Bharti Airtel and BPL Mobile Communications.
Welcoming the newly appointed COO, Mr. Rozanov said, “I am pleased to welcome Mr. M K Sachdeva as our new COO of Bihar/Jharkand telecom circle. I am sure he will infuse new strength in the growth of MTS in Bihar and Jharkhand. MTS products and services have caught the attention of subscribers in the circle and Mr. Sachdeva will be a key contributor towards the aggressive growth of MTS in the two States with his vast experience.”
Thanking Mr. Keshav Tiwary, COO of Kolkata and West Bengal, who was holding the additional charge of Bihar/Jharkhand, Mr. Rozanov said, “I would like to thank Keshav Tiwary, who was running Bihar/Jharkhand circle as a caretaker through the last 6 months. He significantly improved hold of the business in circle. He will continue to head Kolkata and West Bengal telecom circle”.
Speaking about his new role, Mr. M K Sachdeva, said, “I am extremely happy to be a part of MTS Family. I am confident that with the team we will be able to deliver the best of services to the subscribers of Bihar & Jharkhand thereby making MTS the first choice for the customers.”
