Luminous launches next generation deep cycle VRLA batteries for telecom cell sites

Luminous Teleinfra Ltd. (LTI), a division of Rs 1,000 crore SAR Group, launches the next generation deep cycle VRLA batteries for Telecom cell sites. Luminous has a state-of-the-art Battery R&D facility and the company has filed over 11 patents in the Batteries required in power back-ups. With access also to cutting-edge development in battery technology through membership of the Advanced Lead Acid Battery Consortium, USA, Luminous has been refining over the years the technology for battery manufacture in India.

Luminous Teleinfra has a wide range of VRLA batteries for multiple infrastructure applications. These specially designed Deep Cycle applications provide reduced cost of ownership and usage and highest energy storage in a small footprint. LTI batteries come with unique features such as Minimal Thermal Runaway, Reduced Gassing due to patented alloy and Minimal Positive Plate Corrosion leading to longer life.

Luminous Teleinfra has manufacturing facility in Gagret, Himachal Pradesh for production of Lead Acid Batteries (Flooded flat & tubular plate and VRLA and Tubular GEL Deep cycle types) with a production capacity over 1 Billion AH. LTI has a vast service network of 18 offices and 500 trouble shooting engineers/ technicians spread across the country in over 52 locations to provide round-the-clock service support for the product.
