India Telecom Stats -- October 2008
Another record breaking wireless (GSM, CDMA, WLL) subscribers addition by Indian Telcos in the month of October. The wireless segment saw a huge increase of 10.42 million but the wireline segment as usual witnessed a decline of 0.13 million. The broadband penetration increased slightly maintaining a steady growth with total broadband subscribers increasing 5 million mark.
