IDEA redefines tariff rates, introduces 10 paisa per minute

Customers across Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa can now make calls for as low as 10p per minute

IDEA Cellular, the pan-India mobile operator has introduced a new tariff plan that will provide more value to its subscribers. Consumers will now be charged merely 10 paisa per minute on a tariff plan of Rs. 18 per month. Idea subscribers across Mumbai, Maharashtra and Goa can experience an 83% reduction in rates over the existing rate.

A large group of people who talk for smaller durations but make frequent calls will benefit most through the new tariff plan.

With increasing consumer base, Idea has become more affordable and by introducing yet another tariff plan it is getting closer to the youth community, small entrepreneurs and self employed mass.

Mr. Sashi Shankar, Chief Operating Officer – Mumbai, IDEA Cellular said ‘By introducing new Idea to Idea Power recharge we reinforce our commitment to provide value for money services to our subscribers. We understand our varied subscriber base and thus come up with best offers for varied sets of people. The Idea to Idea Power recharge will cater to a large section of people whose daily needs of staying in touch and informed will be served. By allowing consumers to pay less and talk more we have successfully been able to generate value and loyalty.’

The validity of Idea to Idea Power recharge is 30 days from the date of recharge.
