IDEA Cellular launches new tariff plans in Assam & NE

IDEA Cellular, the pan-India mobile operator has announced breakthrough tariff plans for the Assam & North East subscribers. The new and affordable tariffs are designed for customers with high data, SMS and voice call usage.

Idea has introduced a tariff plan offering all Local and STD calls at just 40 paisa per minute, with recharge of Rs. 14. This plan will also allow the users to send 500 free local and national SMS' which will automatically get activated after sending the first 3 SMS at 60 paise per SMS, everyday. The free SMS' are valid for a period of 90 days. STD and Local calls at 40 paisa/min will help customers in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura to remain in touch with their close ones anywhere in the country at affordable rates. Idea prepaid subscribers who wish to continue getting these tariff benefits can do another recharge of Rs. 10, post the 90 days validity.

Idea has also introduced 'Youth Pack', a special offer targeting the large and growing youth segment, especially at a time when colleges have re-opened and students are looking for affordable tariff plans to stay in touch with their friends.

Youth Pack, a product targeted at the youth, comes loaded with Tariff & VAS benefits. From economical calling to unlimited SMS' & GPRS offerings, the product has everything bundled together to the liking of today's youth. The new product offers Local Idea to Idea calling for just 10 paisa/min, after the first 2 minutes of local on-net calling. The pack also offers affordable calling rates for other calls made outside the Idea network, both Local and STD, at just 50 paisa/min.

Idea prepaid subscribers availing the youth product will also get 100 free SMS' nationally or locally, everyday for 90 days, only the first two SMS' of the day will be charged at 50 paisa, everyday. The tech savvy younger generation can also benefit from the power packed services under this offer, which allows them 20 MB of GPRS free daily for 30 days. This pack can be extended with a minimum recharge of Rs.10 after the first 90 days.
