Bus & Bus shelters go Green in Bangalore!

Commuters in the city are witnessing a Green transformation in Bangalore, as the city Buses and Bus shelters are going Green to spread IDEA Cellular's message of 'Use Mobile, Save Paper'. A number of luxury buses, plying between the city and International airport, are decked up with IDEA branding to spread the message of saving trees.
Bus Shelters in the city have a brand new and fresh look as well, as they have been transformed into Green covers, with potted plants, and tendril climbers to convey the green message. One such green bus shelter at Bellary Road has already started catching attention of passersby. The busy streets of Bangalore welcome the change, as it adds greenery to the façade, and offers a cool shade to the commuters waiting at the stands.
A hoarding at Residency Road - with IDEA Brand Ambassador, Abhishek Bachchan in the look of a Tree - is another attention grabber which is urging people to do their bit to save the greenery on the planet, by saving Trees.
World over, millions of tones of trees get cut everyday to produce paper, leading to alarming rates of deforestation. One simple idea to save paper is to efficiently use the mobile phone for large number of day to day communication. The new IDEA campaign showcases how the mobile phone can be used as an efficient tool to read daily newspapers generate e-bills, make payments and transactions, issue e-tickets and boarding passes; thereby saving tonnes of paper everyday.
