Android Software Suite Honored for Exceptional Innovation

Aricent®, a global innovation, technology and services company focused exclusively on communications, announced today that Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) named its Media EXP™ Android software

suite as a 2010 TMC Labs Innovation Award winner presented by its publication, INTERNET TELEPHONY.

Aricent’s Media EXP software suite is a pre-integrated and pre-optimized multimedia software suite optimized for Google’s Android operating system. The software suite enables next-generation 4G networks and devices through its portfolio of rich multimedia components (including HD Video CODECs) and by its comprehensive suite of applications. The software suite includes multimedia middleware software comprising of a wide range of CODECs, image processing algorithms and a number of pre-integrated applications like media playback, recording, streaming, Video Telephony Push to Talk over SIP/IMS and more.
