Alcatel-Lucent appointments Frank Maccary as VP Investor Relations

Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) today announced Frank Maccary will join Alcatel-Lucent as vice president, Investor Relations, responsible for communication with the investment community, including financial analysts, institutional investors and retail shareholders. Frank Maccary will report to Paul Tufano, Alcatel-Lucent’s chief financial officer. This appointment becomes effective April 6. Frank Maccary replaces Rémi Thomas who will become Chief Financial Officer for the company’s enterprise and verticals business.‪ “I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Rémi Thomas for his commitment over these past years. He was instrumental in improving our financial transparency. Frank Maccary is a highly respected financial analyst with extensive telecom experience. I’m looking forward his contribution to our transformation strategy,” said Alcatel-Lucent’s CEO, Ben Verwaayen.‪

From 2002 to 2008, Frank Maccary has served as financial analyst at IXIS Securities, coordinating the Telecoms, Media and Technologies sector including Alcatel-Lucent. Since 2008, he was head of Investor Relations at Legrand.

‪Frank Maccary is a graduate from Supelec, holds a Master of Science from Heriott Watt University, Scotland. He is a member of the French financial analyst society (Société française des analystes financiers).
